About the Role:

• Multiple entry level roles in Wahgarei, Keirkeri, Kaikohe and Pahia collection centers; between Monday to Friday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
• Full on-the-job training in phlebotomy techniques and associated specimen collection and preservation will be provided.
• Provide a professional customer service, serve as a link between health professionals, their patients and the laboratory.
• Opportunity to get qualified to register with Medical Sciences Council of NZ.

Previous Phlebotomy experience is not essential as long as you have:

• A positive and friendly approach to your work and demonstrate cultural and social sensitivity.
• Compassion for others, including a real desire to provide high-quality care to a wide variety of patients of all ages and circumstances.
• Excellent customer service skills including a high level of personal presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow processes accurately, even when under pressure.
• Be highly motivated towards learning and development in order to develop technical competency in Phlebotomy and other specimen collection procedures.
• Eligibility to work in NZ and fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
